By the end of World War 2, a 3rd generation of the Child family had taken over the running of the business, this was Patrick Charles Child. He continued to work into his late 70's, and towards the end of his working life handed over control to the 4th generation, his son, John Child. Now in the early 21st century control of the company is transferring to the 5th generation - Philip John Child
The company has now traded successfully for well over 125 years, turning out high quality bespoke suits for clients originally from Wandsworth, but now from around the world. The name of Child & Sons has become widely known and respected for quality and service.
